KORI shop

High aesthetics and artistic creation mark for 25 years the interior of the old neoclassical building at the center of Athens that houses the KORI store. Its owners, George Koutsis and Efi Lymperopoulou, have struggled to subordinate the needs of a modern store to the history of the building and the trace left by Dimitris Pikionis’ small interventions, preserving and highlighting its architectural and structural elements. With elegance similar to the building, the couple thoroughly curates the collections of artwork and jewelry sold in its showcases.
Their decision to create KORI Gallery, an exhibition space inside the store, is not surprising. It is the natural result of what they have been doing consistently for so many years: to give prominence to important Greek artists and their work. "We want to promote the new trends of Greek art and we are really happy that the KORI Gallery is opening with the exhibition TA AMARANTA by the great artist Vangelis Polyzos," they say, raising the curtain of the new venture.

The exhibition opens on May 19th and will last until June 15th.
